A lesson planner that runs on your computer — not in the cloud

Tomorrow is ready. The plan stays yours.

Loop Teacher is a private weekly lesson planner for teachers. Plan the week, teach, jot a 60‑second reflection, and turn it into one small adjustment for next class. No account. No subscription. No student data on anyone's server.

One‑time purchase, yours forever.

Why "Loop"?

Planners store lessons. Loop closes the loop.

Most planning tools stop when the bell rings. Loop Teacher is built around what happens after — the thirty seconds when you actually know what worked. It turns that into tomorrow's plan.

1

Plan

Lay out the week across all your courses. Goal, success criteria, I Do / We Do / You Do, materials, differentiation — as much or as little as the lesson needs.

2

Teach

The Today screen shows exactly what's next, what's prepared and what still needs you — with special‑day schedules when the timetable flips.

3

Reflect

Mark a lesson taught and jot what actually happened, in the time it takes to walk to your next class. Messy is fine. Sixty seconds is the point.

4

Decide

Turn the reflection into one small adjustment for next time — and keep it. Every lesson carries its own version history, so you can see how your teaching evolved.

Private by design

Your classroom's data never leaves your classroom.

School software keeps ending up in the news for the wrong reason: cloud databases full of student information, breached. Loop Teacher's answer is simple — there is no cloud database.

  • Everything is stored by your browser, on your computer. There is no server to breach, because there is no server.
  • No account, no login, no email address required to use it.
  • Students are referred to by codes (like S‑07) in every AI‑facing workflow — never by name.
  • AI is off by default. If you want it, the included prompt pack works with the assistant you already use.
  • You save dated safety copies with one click, and restore them the same way — on a new computer too.

Why this matters now

"Districts and teachers spent this decade learning the hard way where their data actually lives."

When millions of student and teacher records can be exposed by a single vendor breach, the safest data is the data that was never uploaded. Loop Teacher is planning software the way a paper planner was private — except it can search, remember versions, and get tomorrow ready.

Questions teachers ask

FAQ

Where is my data stored?
On your computer, in your browser's own storage. Loop Teacher has no server, no account and no sync — nothing you type is sent anywhere. You save dated safety‑copy files whenever you want and restore from them in one step, including on a new computer.
Is this a subscription?
No. One‑time purchase: US$49.00 (founding price). The app is a file you own. It never expires, never re-bills, and never holds your plans hostage.
Does it use AI on my students' information?
AI is off by default and nothing is ever sent automatically. If you choose to use the included AI Prompt Pack with your own assistant, the workflow refers to students by codes like S‑07 — never names. You stay in charge of what leaves your machine, because you're the one copying it.
What do I need to run it?
A computer with a modern browser — Windows, Mac, Chromebook or Linux. Chrome‑family browsers are recommended. It runs from a local file, there's nothing to install, and it works without an internet connection. Two habits keep your data safe: use it in one tab (the app warns you if a second opens) and not in a private/incognito window.
Will it work for CEGEP / high school / elementary?
Loop Teacher is subject‑agnostic: you define your courses, periods and timetable. It was built by a working CEGEP teacher and is used across multiple courses and sections; the same structure fits elementary and high school schedules.
I homeschool — is this for me?
Yes. A homeschool starter pack is included: four subjects, a flexible Monday–Thursday timetable and sample lessons. (It's a planning starter, not a transcript or compliance tool.)
What if my computer dies?
Restore from your latest safety copy in one step — it's a small file you keep wherever you like (USB stick, school drive, email to yourself). The Start Here guide walks you through the backup habit in about a minute.
Can I try it before paying?
Please do — the live demo is the real app loaded with sample data. Click everything. It's the fastest way to know if it fits how you plan.
Who makes this

Built by a teacher, between classes.

Loop Teacher started as the planner I couldn't find: fast enough for a real teaching week, private enough that my students' information never touches someone else's server, and honest enough to be bought once instead of rented forever. If it saves you a Sunday evening, it's doing its job.

— Mac, Loop Teacher
